Joe Francie Marley founded the funeral service in 1978 in the parish of Glenfin, Co. Donegal. At this time he was in the car, bus & coach hire business. The local Funeral Director Dan Mc Menamin who ran a very successful funeral service was due to retire.

Joe was committed to assisting sensitively those coping with bereavement. He provided support with a full range of professional funeral arrangement services. Joe then retired himself in 2010 and the business was continued by the Marley family.

The Company now

The business has expanded and we now provide funeral services for families in Letterkenny, the Finn Valley and surrounding areas. Marley’s have a funeral home in Letterkenny and are in the planning stage of opening a second funeral home in Ballybofey to serve the Finn Valley area.
